Meet Miss Jemma, an amazing addition to our team at Little Sparrows Therapy! Originally from Sydney, she completed her studies at Australian Catholic University in 2023 before moving to Cairns with her partner to embrace the tropical lifestyle. She has a strong passion for working in paediatrics, supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities, and helping with emotional regulation. When she’s not at work, she enjoys running and baking—and she’s especially excited to snorkel in the Great Barrier Reef! If she could have any superpower, it would be teleportation—making adventures even easier! 🪸

We love supporting the next generation of therapists in speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physiotherapy. We partner with a variety of Universities across Australia to provide hands-on learning experiences for students in a supportive and professional environment. Meet Mac, our 4th-year physiotherapy student from Townsville, who is gaining valuable experience with Senior Physiotherapist, Otis. We love helping future therapists grow while providing quality care to our community! 💪

Meet Miss Ashleigh! Our newest team member at Little Sparrows Therapy! 💐

Originally from the Sunshine Coast, Ashleigh recently moved to Cairns with her partner to explore exciting and new career opportunities. She graduated with Honours from the University of Queensland in 2023 and is passionate about increasing communication accessibility within the Cairns community, particularly through AAC. 💬

Outside of work, she loves hiking, playing basketball, and crafting—and she’s eager to explore the Daintree, chase waterfalls, and spot a crocodile in the wild! If she could have any superpower, it would be teleportation — perfect for quick adventures between work and play! 🌞🍃
