Is it you we’re looking for?

We’re on the hunt for an Architectural Designer to join the team at Studio Atelier, but more than your résumé, we’re interested in you.

We’re a small practice that works closely, thinks openly, and values honest, down-to-earth conversations (and good coffee!). We love working with people who are curious, collaborative, and not afraid to ask questions.

With an exciting array of projects from bespoke renovations to new builds we’re looking for a team member to enter into a supporting role to be mentored by both Jeff and myself, on conceptual design work and 3d development.

Whether you’re young or just young at heart, enthusiasm and initiative go a long way here. We embrace doing things differently, we’re big believers in learning from each other and as excited to hear your fresh ideas as we are to share what we know.

Now for the practical stuff:
Documentation experience is a great asset however a good eye for design and detail and willingness to learn is what we’re after! You’ll need to be proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Photoshop, and digital hand mark-ups. The role is for approx 20hrs/week to start, with flexibility and room to grow. Remuneration will be discussed based on experience.

Celebrating you not just on your special day, but everyday. We probably don’t stop to thank you enough for all that you do and the way you always show up for our little fam, for your friends, and for the our team and clients despite the hurdles life throws in the mix!

Thank you for the fun and light heartedness you bring, for the adventures we’ve shared and for always being my biggest support - I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store ✨

Sneak peek!

A collaborative result between building designer, client, builder, interior designer and landscaper to bring this beautifully crafted family home in Applecross to life.

Jeff and I were honoured to have worked closely alongside this family from the get go, to craft the floor plan and exterior design for this new home build. Thrilled to see the vision come to life through the craftsmanship and refined ex*****on by alongside to beautifully layer up the interiors of the home ✨

We are big believes in the magic that comes from having a collaborative, team approach so that we can achieve the very best for our clients and families we work with and it’s such a joy to see such a considered result like this.

Focusing on indoor - outdoor connection, timeless architectural design, generous volumes and proportions and an abundance of natural light to create a welcoming contemporary family home 🫶🏼

7 years married and 16 years together - I choose you 🫶🏼

Thank you for being my biggest supporter. Not only in the big things, like running a biz, entertaining my tenth new idea for the day, keeping me grounded, raising two awesome little humans and bringing to life our .retreat adventure -

But also the million and one little things you do that go unseen - like the cups of hot coffee, reminding me to book yoga or catch up with the girls, bringing me meals when I am too busy to remember to eat, supporting me find this new version of myself post babies and an ADHD diagnosis to to mention a few…

There are times where I didn’t think our story would play out like this, which makes me even more grateful and appreciative for the love and life we share.

We truly are stronger together and I couldn’t imagine anyone else I’d want to be waking up next to, spending all day (literally side by side in the studio) and then ending the day with.
