We're excited to share that Tourism Research Australia (TRA) recently released visitor survey results, which show positive results for The Tweed! Results also showed The Tweed is one of the top performing LGA's in the North Coast for overnight trips.

Please join us for a relaxed gathering of friends and colleagues as we recognise Sally’s incredible contribution to The Tweed Tourism Co. and the broader visitor economy. Sally has played a pivotal role in shaping The Tweed’s tourism story - championing the region, building strong industry partnerships and elevating its profile as a must-visit destination.

While it’s always hard to say goodbye, we’re excited to send Sally off in style as she embarks on her next tourism adventure.

New maps of The Tweed arrived last week, just in time for Easter. Thank you to our local advertising partners for making it possible to produce and distribute these maps for free to visitors. Distributed across hotels, holiday parks and Visitor Information Centres, they are a key resource for visitors.

It was wonderful to see almost 30 Tweed Tourism Vollie's (Volunteer Staff) attend our March Famil at the Salt Precinct. Our vollie's enjoyed lunch at the Salt Bar and received a venue update by local gal and Manager, Elle Crawley. The group then moved on to the Salt Village French Patisserie where they got to experience the signature High Tea plus tea and coffee.

Afterwards, the group attended the industry event "Meet The Tweed" at Mantra on Salt Beach. Tweed operators shared a 2 minute overview of their tourism business before the volunteer staff had time to wander the exhibition floor and speak with operators.

Our vollie's are an invaluable part of the visitor experience in our Kingscliff and Murwillumbah Visitor Information Centres!
