SKIN CANCER CHECKS
Australia has one of the highest rates of skin cancer in the world. 2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70. Skin cancer also accounts for around 80% of all newly diagnosed cancers. The earlier a skin cancer is identified and treated, the better your chance of avoiding surgery with potential scars or, in the case of a serious melanoma, preventing even fatality.

Kingscliff Health have highly skilled female and male GPs with specific training in skin, that can look after you for your yearly skin checks (or more frequently, if you have already been diagnosed with a skin cancer in the past). Call 02 6670 1400

Adam is a strong advocate for tailoring treatment to an individual’s problem, lifestyle and outlook. He has undertaken post-graduate training in a variety of treatment methods, including joint manipulation, myofascial release, trigger point release, western acupuncture and dry needling, muscle energy techniques, biomechanics, orthotic therapy, resistance training and cognitive behavioural therapy to assist in the management of pain problems.

A risk factor is something that increases your chance of getting cancer. There are things we can change, and some we can't – but it's important to know about them all.

Unfortunately, getting older is a risk factor for ovarian cancer. If you have any concerns or notice any symptoms, it's important to always talk to your GP and let them know.
