In the 1980s, I had the fortunate experience of working in Switzerland for the niece of the Doctor Who Pioneer international foot education to prevent amputations.
Her uncle became disappointed at the number of amputations he was doing.
✔️He started educating Diabetic’s as to how to prevent foot infection.
💖 He was able to document a significant drop in the number of people who needed their feet amputated
💖 The hospital he was working at are very proud to be the focal point for commencing international foot education
