😰 Recovery from an injury can be a long process. Health recovery after musculoskeletal injuries is a complex issue, and there is growing recognition of the importance of psychosocial factors, such as recovery expectations, in this process.
💭Your expectations (positive or negative) thoughts and attitude is just as important as treatment and completing your rehabilitation exercises. Excessive stress, inability to moderate emotional responses, and negative thought patterns all contribute to detrimental physical states that may interfere with the healing process. On the other hand, positive thought patterns, positive emotions, and little stress can lead your physical body into a relaxed state, enhancing the healing process.
