Because settling in means different things to different people, our team like to check in to make sure the transition to the new home is going well.

🏐 Game on!

🏐 We are so excited to be sponsoring 2025 Australian Sitting Volleyball Championships set to take place on the Gold Coast on 6 & 7 December.

🏐 Team selections were held earlier this month, making this the second year WA will field a team.

🏐 Congratulations to the athletes and coaches selected to represent WA in this competitive, high energy and fun game.

🏐 Supporting events like this reflects our comittment to creating opportunities for people living with disability to thrive, belong and celebrate their abilities.

Our latest award winning home.

A 3 bedroom SDA home for sharing with a cleverly designed, duplex style SDA villa for a single Participant - awarded Specialised Housing of the Year at the PerHIA WA_au Awards.

Thanks to the superior work of our building partnVelocity Buildinging this home is a true expression of why disability housing was created.

It offers those living with disability the opportunity to reside in a beautiful, contemporary, stylish home while surrounded by accessible fixtures and assistive technology… All with the added security of an additional room for onsite living supports.

The villa located at the front of the property is still vacant!!!

🏆 Award winning Specialist Disability Accommodation!

Our team was beyond proud to take home the Specialised Housing of the Year Award at Saturday night’s .hia_au Awards for our SDA home in Floreat!

Our two Canning Vale SDA homes were also finalists for Liveable Home of Year, demonstrating that Sana Living continue to lead the way in accessible design.

A huge thankyou and congrats to our building partners on these homes: for Floreat and Canning Vale and also for Canning Vale.

Every home we provide starts with one goal - to create homes where people can life life their way. Being awarded for these homes is a proud reminder of our ‘why.’

🔁 Switching SDA.

🤔 What happens when you find an SDA home that’s perfect BUT you decide you want you live somewhere else?

😃 A move with Sana Living means ongoing service, including making sure your SDA home continues to be your happy place.

☺️ Stephanie (pictured here with Andy from our Accommodations team) let us know she was keen to move from Perth’s south to north, to be closer to family.

🧐 Our Tenancy team investigated available options for her to live her way - in a single occupant SDA home with her beloved dog Chester, and managed to find her a 2-bedroom villa in an ideal location.

🥰 This week she made the move and we are delighted she was able to stay in the Sana Living family!

🌱 Paving and landscaping.

There is a lot that goes in to paving SDA homes! See here at our almost completed SDA homes in Hamersley.

Safe, low maintenance and durable surfaces are key to accessibility especially when it comes to suitability for wheelchair users.

Some things we consider are drainage, gradient or slope, non-slip texture and thresholds. It might sound basic, but involves precision measurements and specific materials.

Clearly defined pathways connecting parking to entry points and outside footpaths empower residents to move around - WITHOUT ASSISTANCE - providing freedom, confidence and control.

Just a bit more greenery and this home will be ready for tenants.
