As a Disability Support Worker at SIRV- Team Lewis, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with disabilities under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). You will work collaboratively with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of personalized and goal-oriented services. This role involves assisting clients with daily living tasks, promoting community participation, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

Born with Cerebral Palsy in 1959, Wendy faced many challenges but never allowed them to define her. In 2020, she began typing her life story - one keystroke at a time ⌨️ - using just one finger or thumb, with the goal of inspiring others. Helping those living with disabilities to recognise their potential and realise that anything is possible when you put your mind to it. 🎯

Fast forward to late 2024, Wendy achieved her dream and became a 𝐩𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐫 📚🎉, achieving a significant milestone in her journey.

Her story is a true testament to strength and perseverance. 🙌💙
