Regis is thrilled to announce we have completed the acquisition of a significant portion of the Rockpool Residential Aged Care group, including four high-quality Homes located in South-East Queensland. The addition of Regis Carseldine, Morayfield, Oxley and Pelican Waters adds a further 600 beds to our Residential Aged Care national portfolio.

We are delighted to officially welcome almost 900 new employees to our team, who are dedicated to caring for 550 residents and their families.

The Lifestyle team at Regis Greenmount is always looking for new ways to bring energy, connection and variety to the lives of residents. Their latest idea was a visit from the Darlington Fire Brigade, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable afternoons yet.

Residents were invited to try out the hoses, ask questions and share their own memories, including a few who had once been volunteer firefighters themselves.

“It brought back memories of my days as a volunteer fireman,” said resident Chris Long. “It was great to chat to the current band of volunteers.”

Residents at Regis Holland Park and Regis Chelmer marked Daffodil Day with heartfelt celebrations in support of cancer research.

At Holland Park, the Home was filled with yellow as residents joined with Regis Salisbury for an inter-home event. A visit from the Cancer Council’s Brisbane Regional Specialist added meaning to the day and donations were made to support the cause.

Resident Gordon shared, “It’s good that we all contribute towards such a good cause, and we help others fight cancer.”

Regis Chelmer hosted a relaxed afternoon tea, bringing together residents, families and team members to share treats, stories and support for the Cancer Council.

These moments show how our Homes come together in meaningful ways to support causes that matter.

Regis Camp Hill and Regis Ferny Grove hosted a joint EKKA Fun Day with a petting zoo, fairy floss and ice cream, while Regis Birkdale recreated the show experience with classic treats, games and a mini animal farm. At Regis Holland Park, residents enjoyed cuddly animals, festive food and warm conversations with students from Holland Park State High School and visitors from Regis Chelmer.

After requesting a BBQ at their last picnic, residents from Regis Sandgate Lucinda and Regis Sandgate Musgrave returned to the park this month with tongs in hand and stories to share. Bev brought her fruit and vegetable salad, others helped cook and everyone enjoyed a relaxed afternoon of connection and conversation.

Regis Musgrave resident Rodney shared, “It is always nice to keep in touch with our fellow residents in Sandgate Lucinda. It helps us create new friendships during picnics and even during our friendly competition at the Home. We should do this often.”
