One of my favourite summer drinks is green tea and lychee. So easy to make and a great afternoon pick me up 😊

You’ll need
Green tea (I like one with jasmine as well)
Tin of lychees
Jars
Hot water

Brew green tea how you like it then pour in a little lychee juice and pop some lychees in. Put lids on, refrigerate, enjoy.

Feeding little people!! The struggle is real.
A small win lately though with all the summer meals, putting everything on the table and letting the children choose what they would like to eat. Has greatly increased vegetable consumption and decreased food wastage = win. Got any more hot tips for me?

Do you broth?
Bone broth or stock is more than just a health fad, it is excellent for helping to strengthen and restore the whole body! Rich in collagen, gelatin, mucopolysaccharides, glucosamine, glutamine and other healing amino acids. Broth is also excellent for freezing and using in recipes, replacing the need for stock powder and adding a delicious nutritious richness to your dishes. Using bones from free range animals that have consumed a natural diet is preferred.

In a stock pot add beef bones or chicken frames/necks, 2 whole carrots, 2 sticks of celery, 2 onions, 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and cover with filtered water. Bring to the boil and then simmer. Chicken needs a minimum of 4 hours and beef bones need at least 6 but I would usually cook for at least 10 hours in the slow cooker. Once cooked, strain and cool before pouring into jars and freezing, making sure that the jars are only 2/3 full as it expands once frozen. I usually freeze in one and two cup portions so it's easy to add to recipes.

We love sourdough toast with lots of healthy toppings, today we had Vegemite, avocado and sprouts and cashew h**p butter with sliced bananas - filling, healthy and delicious!!
Setting up healthy habits starts with a healthy breakfast.

Hello! It's been a long time between posts...I've been very busy raising two beautiful babies over the last couple of years, my eldest is now nearly 3 and the youngest is 11 months.

Sunscreen is so important to protect our skin from the suns harmful rays, however there are so many brands out there full of nasty chemicals and fillers which are being absorbed by the skin into our bodies...that we can do without!
Personally in our household we use Wotnot and Little Innocents.
