Job Title: Retail Manager – MEP Marketplace (6-Month Contract)
Location: 915 Hay St, Perth, WA
Position Type: Fixed-term Contract (6 months)

About Us:
Microenterprise People Inc. (MEP) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability. MEP Marketplace is our initiative to provide a supportive retail environment where people with disability can gain valuable work experience and build their skills.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead the operations of MEP Marketplace. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day activities, ensuring smooth store operations, and fostering an inclusive and empowering environment for our team members with disability. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine impact by supporting our mission of promoting social inclusion and the employability of people with disability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily operations of MEP Marketplace, ensuring a positive and productive atmosphere.
• Provide leadership and support to staff members, including those with disability, to achieve their employment goals.
• Manage stock levels.
• Visual merchandising and overall presentation of the store.
• Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
• Foster a workplace culture that is inclusive, supportive, and aligned with MEP’s values.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Previous experience in retail management or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of disability support and inclusive workplace practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adaptively with a diverse team.
• Passion for social impact and community development.
