What a birth.
We stayed home until it was time, we stayed positive and believed in the strength and power of this beautiful woman, and it wasn't easy. But she did it with pure will and the belief that she could.
It must be a compliment when the student midwife is thankful to have been part of this powerful birth.
And I thank you for trusting me as your doula 💟

I went out with my oldest daughter last night...I still remember her birth, her quirky ways, the days I was so exhausted I let her sit and put the gazillion hairclips in whilst I slept with my eyes open. Enjoy every second, even the hard ones as they grow up so super quickly.

What a lovely get-together we had yesterday.
We were 3 women talking about pregnancy and the ups and downs, the excitement and worries of the looming birth and life in general.

We had a German connection switching from English to German in a funny flow we all enjoyed.

I am looking forward to another meeting in a fortnight. Until then, I will be in Esperance, enjoying the last few days of school holidays with my kids.

Today was the first get together of a pregnancy circle I wanted to start for ages. It was just Anna and I this time, a mum I approached at the beach walking my dog, but that was OK. Let's hope for some more faces next time.
