To distill this 24 hour period into a carousel was a harder task than anticipated but here are a few of our fave shots from the inaugural 24hr swim for ocean heroes. Meet some of the teams that made this event so magical!

The swim was a huge success with 10 teams swimming a combined distance of 814kms and raising $67k for Ocean Heroes in the process! These dollars support our free neurodivergent surfing events for this summer and beyond! 🙏 🏄‍♀️

Thank you to all teams for their inspiring effort, tenacity and good vibes they brought poolside!

Ocean Heroes is built upon community.

If I had one word to sum up the NSW Revo Fitness 24hr Swim for Ocean it would be community. This fundraiser, and our Free Events Program for those on the autism spectrum, are driven by an incredible community of kind hearted, ocean-loving, truly incredible people.

The greatest proof to that is that this, our first year for the fundraiser in NSW, saw over 100 people swimming for 24 hours. The final amounts are still trickling in, yet this fundraiser has already raised a total a whopping $67,500 to support our Free Events program (almost double our original target!) Thank you to everyone who swam, the hundreds of support crew across the day and thousands of individual donors that supported.

This video captures the magic, smiles, energy, hard times and good times.

Thank you to everyone that made the event possible, you know who you are. This concept, an annual 24hr Swim fundraiser will form the foundation for delivering our Free programs across NSW and QLD for years to come. It is directly linked to our ability to deliver free programs and to see the overwhelming support around that is powerful. Great things ahead as we will introduce thousands of autistic individuals and their families to surfing.

To those that swam, give those arms a well-earned rest. We look forward to having you again as we will soon open up the expressions of interest for next year. Don’t worry we will give you first preference.
