I start in a new role at work tomorrow promising more pressure but wonderful opportunities and meeting new people. While I’m not feeling nervous, I always consult my garden and listen when particular herbs send their energies to me with wise advice 🌿

A few months ago my feet and lower legs were swelling up on most days, especially by the end of the day. I had scans and tests for everything and it seemed to be caused from fluid retention and arthritis in my toes. The GP said the only thing I could do was massage my legs and elevate to help reduce the swelling.

I did what any herb-crazy woman would do and consulted my garden.

I made chamomile massage oil for the bedtime ritual and increased my intake of herbs like lemon Myrtle, lemon balm, chamomile and moringa.

And I’ve been using this foot soak blend: Jasmine, chamomile, lavender, rose petals, bi-carb and Epsom salts - it’s absolutely divine 💓

I can report these things have helped immensely ☺️

HAPPY AUTUMN EQUINOX, MABON: 🍂
Mother Nature invites us all to be present, take a long breath and go inward to let go of all that no longer serves us

Mabon is the chance to focus on inviting balance into our lives and celebrate the magical harmony of nature ⚖️

You’ll begin to notice the garden breathing a sigh of relief; although in Perth we still have some pretty warm days ahead ☀️

Leaves will begin to change colour and some plants will start their transition into winter resting, a beautiful reminder for us to slow down too 🍂

It’s a beautiful time to set up an alter with special items from your garden, jars of pickle, oils, candles, herbs and crystals and set intentions 🔮

Sharing food with family and friends is a great way to celebrate too 🍛

And it’s always a good time to give your home an extra clean if you can, to make way for some new energy 🧽

This chamomile infused oil is AMAZING - I’m obsessed with it and the gorgeous natural aroma ☺️

If you’re not a tea drinker but would love to incorporate the benefits of Chamomile into your health routine then this oil is perfect for you

Chamomile infused oil is a lovely soothing, anti-inflammatory oil, perfect for massaging into feet and hands before bed or using in a roller bottle for your temple area and wrists.

It’s the perfect Moon Ritual Oil for using after your evening bath/shower and massaging into your temple and neck area for regulating your nervous system

My oils are created in small quantities, using quality products. I infuse homegrown herbs into Australian organic oils and let the extraction take place over 4-6 weeks in a dark place. No harsh heat, no chemicals and definitely no rush 🫶

Carrier Oils Used:
* Organic Australian Jojoba Oil (from Simmondsia chinensis seeds): Excellent as a natural moisturizer, helps balance oil production, and treats dry or inflamed skin. It’s an also non-comedogenic (won’t clog pores). I use The Jojoba Company Wadi-Wadi Jojoba

* Apricot kernel oil: extracted from the kernel and praised for deeply hydrating skin and hair with antioxidants (Vitamins A, E) and fatty acids (Omega-9, 6), reducing inflammation, and improving skin elasticity

Tonight, starting at about 6:45, Perth time, our beautiful Luna will put on a magical show and as she grows a little darker, her surrounding starts will shine brighter 🌟

While gazing up at the magical moon, take time to release old grievances, look to forgiveness of anyone who has upset you (this doesn’t excuse their behaviour), and find things to be grateful for 💓

Focus on your sincerity, sense of purpose and faith in your Self, while connecting to this Virgo full moon energy

I wouldn’t normally recommend making moon water under an eclipse, but as it’s under a 3:3 angel number I will use the water later for Energy/Spirit rituals

Under this full moon eclipse the Veil is extra-thin, so divination, honouring our ancestors and Spirit communication are powerful practices; reflecting on the cycles of life and death.

🌿Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis), also known as bee balm, is a lemon-scented mint plant which has a gentle nervine effect. Her powerful properties support an unsettled heart and provide a cooling action for heat and irritation

Due to the nervine action, lemon balm also supports the liver function and is a gentle remedy for headaches, red/hot face, sweats and nervousness

In magic rituals it’s often used to attract love and a heal broken heart, as tea, bathing ritual or used in a topical ointment (or aromatherapy)

It’s such a wonderful herb to have in your garden, kitchen pantry or apothecary cabinet and is associated with the heart chakra, Anahata.
