Behind each number is a thriving hive. Numbering allows our beekeepers to track health, history, and harvest — ensuring transparency from forest to jar.

Our hives are also getting a glow up, with fresh paint to protect them from the harsh WA weather and keep our bees comfortable all year round.

Measured, tested, trusted. Every batch of our honey is independently certified for TA (Total Activity) by Analytica Laboratories and ChemCentre, proving its powerful natural properties.

Our beekeepers live and breathe bees. Their hands tell a story — of stings, of care, of a life spent tending hives and protecting forests. From this dedication comes some of the world’s most potent honey, drawn from the pristine ancient forests of Western Australia.

Fresh from their Winter foraging in the wildflower fields, our bees have settled in among the Manuka trees, moving in a steady hum of activity.

Here, in the clean air and open landscapes of Western Australia, they’ll spend the coming weeks gathering this rare nectar — no sugar syrup, no chemical treatments, just nature.

Manuka starts to bloom = bee moving day!
Our beekeepers have carefully relocated the hives from wildflower fields to our pristine Manuka plantation, just as the first blossoms open.
Now the real work begins…

There’s nothing better than that amber drip.

Our bees have been hard at work during Winter, and this week our beekeepers extracted the very first batch of Wildflower honey for the season — rich, dark, and full of the floral complexity that only Western Australia’s wildflower fields can create.

This is raw and cold-extracted - exactly as the bees made it.

Winter Forage in the Wild 🐝🌿
Even in the cooler months, our bees stay active—following the Winter blooms across WA’s bushland.

We move our hives to warmer regions where native wildflowers provide vital nourishment, helping our bees stay healthy and strong ahead of spring.

Working with nature keeps our bees thriving.

Cold Hands, Warm Honey, Happy Immune System 🐝

For maximum benefit, always enjoy our raw medicinal honey warm, never boiling.

Too much heat can destroy the natural enzymes and antibacterial goodness.

👇 Tell us how you like to enjoy your honey during these cooler months.

Our Story

Since late 2016 our humble honey company has been hard at work establishing Manuka honey plantations on regenerated farmland across Western Australia’s South West region. We’re continually increasing our area under plantation year-by-year, aiming to become one of Australia’s leading suppliers of Manuka honey in the near future.

In 2019 Honey For Life purchased one of Western Australia’s leading commercial beekeeping operations Davies Apiaries which was established some 40 years ago. With a state-of-the-art extraction facility and 900 beehives, we’ve been hard at work expanding this operation ever since.

We also produce some of Australia’s most sought-after honey, which includes Active Jarrah, Karri and Red Gum. These varietals are all unique to Western Australia’s South West region, and we feel so lucky to be able to share them with you.
