Please dress your baby in clothes that you're happy to get messy in and bring some spare clothes just in case! You might like to also bring a towel!

✨Why is it important? ✨

Repetition plays a vital role in a baby’s early development and at Baby Sensory West Perth, we embrace it wholeheartedly!

Repeating words, sounds, and actions helps babies solidify new skills, strengthen memory, and understand the world around them. This is just one of the reasons why we start & finish our classes the same way every week!

Each time a baby hears a word or engages in a familiar activity, they’re building powerful neural connections that support language, confidence and cognitive growth.

We love including purposeful repetition in our classes. The magic truly lies in the practice!

⭐️ Today is World Prematurity Day – a day to raise awareness of the 15 million babies born early across the world each year 👶

1 in every 10 babies is born premature. That’s over 27,000 babies in Australia and over 5,000 babies in New Zealand born early each year.

As well as the premature babies, we're thinking of all those who were born full-term but who needed care in a neonatal unit due to medical needs or complications.

👨‍👩‍👧 For the parents of these little ones, the journey can be an emotional rollercoaster, filled with uncertainty, fear, and countless challenges. The strain of having a baby in neonatal care often means sleepless nights, constant worry, and navigating medical terms and procedures while trying to stay strong for their newborn. We want to acknowledge their strength, resilience, and love that helped to guide their little ones through the most challenging of times. Your love and courage for your baby knows no bounds🙏

🫶 Our partner charities, the Miracle Babies Foundation in Australia and the Little Miracles Trust in New Zealand, do invaluable work in supporting families both during and after their time in neonatal care. We are proud to support them and help raise funds and awareness to ease the burdens that families face.

We’d also like to recognise all of the staff who care for babies during their time in the neonatal units, and the researchers who work tirelessly to find new ways to support these little miracles and develop treatments that aim to give every baby the best possible future. You are all superheroes!

🌟 Happy Children’s Week🌟

What a delight to celebrate Children's Week with the team from the Inklings Program at The Kids Research Institute. We welcomed the Inklings Team, who shared their expertise on how to support early communication with babies and toddlers. We then put it into practice with our fabulous Sensory activities!

💚💛FAQ I didn’t sign up at the start of term. Can I still join, or do I need to wait until next term? 💚💛

Short answer…Yes! You can join at any time and only pay for the remaining classes. 👏🥰

Long answer is that we understand that everyone is ready to join at different times on their parenting journey. As much as we run in terms, our classes are different every week so you don't need to worry about missing something!

Our Class Leaders are also experienced in welcoming families continuously and will ensure that you are informed of everything you need to know 🙌

🧠 Baby brain growth and development is phenomenal in the first year of life and is contingent on new, complex and multi-sensory experiences, so we do recommend as early as you feel ready.

You can check our current availability by heading to our webpage (link in bio). Any class with vacancies will have "book now" still showing. Term 4 places are very limited as we are almost fully booked!

So if your baby is 13 months or younger, why not come and see for yourself what makes Baby Sensory the multi award winning magic that you need in your week. We'd love to see you and your baby there as Term 4 is spectacular 🤩💚💛
