I have been a physiotherapist for > 15 years and have considered it a privilege journeying with all my clients and being involved in their success stories. I graduated from Curtin University many years ago and landed a job in Singapore whilst holidaying back home. I started working in Tan Tock Seng Hospital (one of the largest multi-disciplinary hospital) in Singapore soon after and had an awesome 4 years there learning heaps!! I love treating outpatient musculoskeletal patients during my time there and has treated patients individually for conditions including low back pain, neck pain, upper and lower limb pain as well as conducting exercise classes for patients post surgery and with chronic knee conditions. Returned to Perth to study Masters in Manual Therapy from UWA and worked in a couple of jobs in private practice and even community paediatrics with a not-for-profit organization. I went on to work in the public health system and continued practicing in outpatient musculoskeletal setting and a few other settings. I started working with lymphoedema patients in both palliative care and outpatient setting (lymphoedema secondary to cancer and vascular causes) and decided to go on to get qualifications for it. I completed my training with Vodder Institute International where I had the priviledge to learn from Professor Neil Piller and became an accredited lymphoedema practitioner with the Australasian Lymphology Association and thus started my journey in lymphoedema management as well as my first love in musculoskeletal science. I look forward to meeting all of you in this space.
