1️⃣ Myth: “Pelvic floor issues only affect women who have had children.”
👉🏾 Reality: Pelvic floor issues can affect anyone at any stage in life! Stress, illness and hormonal changes can impact your pelvic floor whether you have given birth or not.

2️⃣ Myth: “Just do your kegels and you will be fine.”
👉🏾 Reality: Not all pelvic floor concerns are caused by weak pelvic floor muscles! Overactive pelvic floor muscles may need relaxation first before strengthening. If you are unsure, consult a pelvic health physiotherapist to find the right approach for YOU!
