Every day I focus on just one task so I don’t feel overwhelmed. Today, I finally got to harvest my lemon balm seeds 🌿 I like to wait for new growth at the base before doing a hard prune—cutting too harshly without fresh growth can make the plant die back. Always check for new shoots before giving it a big trim! 🌿

Comfrey is one of those powerhouse plants we always make room for in the garden 🌿

Fast growing, deeply rooted and incredibly generous, it mines nutrients from deep in the soil and brings them right back up to the surface. Perfect for chop and drop, compost boosting or making your own rich liquid fertiliser. It’s also been a long loved herb in traditional herbal care.

If you’ve been wanting to grow your own, we’ll have a fresh restock of comfrey at the Dunns Herbal Fete this Saturday 🌱

We’ll also have a big restock of most of our plants available on the day, so it’s a great chance to grab what you’ve been waiting for

Pick ups will return next Saturday the 28th 💫

Kath will be doing a garden tour at the fete on Saturday March 21st. Make sure you get down by 10:30 to have a walk around and learn from her as she shares her knowledge of the garden and the plants growing at the farm 🌿🪴🥰

When we come to the end of summer and move into autumn there is still plenty to do in the garden.

Hyssop has such a sweet spicy aroma and is one of our favourite little first aid plants. We reach for it whenever there is congestion a cold or the flu or those annoying stuffy noses. It is antimicrobial antibacterial and one of the best plant remedies to have on hand.

It is also a beautiful little shrub in the garden when grown in full sun.

So excited to have fresh organically grown hand harvested hand cleaned hyssop seeds available 🌿
