🌿 Fresh beginnings! 🌿

I thought it was time to jump on here with a little about me! 💚

So, who are we? We’re a small scale medicinal herb farm nestled in the heart of Maida Vale, Perth WA.

Made for the Earth is run by me, Talishia, with the endless love and support of my fiancé David. We both have a serious gardening addiction and a deep love for all things edible! 🥕🌱

I’m a huge herbal tea lover and have always had a passion for growing healing herbs. I started this business with the hope of bringing back some of the lost treasures of medicinal plants, locally and organically grown here in WA, and offering them as teas, dried herbs and seeds. 🌾✨

I have too many favourites to count but the herbs I find myself reaching for most are lemon balm, wood betony and licorice. 🍃
As for David, I’d say his favourite thing from the garden is anything that’s been pickled! (I’m a sucker for pickled beets myself! 🥒💜)

We’re working hard to get everything restocked soon. It just takes a bit of time as I’m a solo operator doing it all with a lot of love and dirt under my nails! 🌿

Keep an eye on your emails for restock updates and if you’d like to order plants or seeds, visit our website to place an order for pick up or postage.

Thank you for being here and growing with us! 💚

I didn’t get a chance to snap any photos today I was too busy chatting away 😂 But wow, what an amazing day! It was so lovely seeing everyone and finally sharing all the hard work we’ve poured into the garden over the past year. We’re beyond excited (even the kookaburra wanted to join in on the fun!).

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, supported us, and took home a little something from our store 💚 I can’t wait to see what Mandy and Andrew create for the next one!

And of course, a massive thanks to for taking the time to visit all the beautiful gardens around Kalamunda. Still absolutely buzzing from today! 🌿✨

So excited to have everyone join us for the edible garden adventure! 🌿 Hosted by Andrew and Mandy from Here’s a little sneak peek into our spring garden 🪴💚

🌱 Spring is here, and it’s the perfect time to start sowing seeds! 🌱

With warmer soil, longer daylight hours, and plenty of on and off rain, spring gives your seeds the ideal conditions to germinate and grow strong. Sow now and give your garden a head start before the summer heat kicks in. Just keep an eye on those pesky snails, slugs and other garden critters. Germination may not even be the hardest part in spring. It is protecting from the little guys in the garden.

💚 What are you planting this spring?

Oh, life has been BUSY! 🌿
Between packing orders, harvesting, packing seeds, picking cauliflower, wrangling the chooks, cooking, baking, and keeping the sourdough alive… I honestly can’t even remember the last time I took a proper break (and yes, I probably should soon 😅).

But I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who continues to support us! 💛 Every single order, message, and kind word means the world. I’m working hard to restock all your favourites on the website, and I’m so excited with the Kalamunda Garden Festival just around the corner — can’t wait to see you all there! 🌿🌱✨

Another coach has been added to the Edible Adventure! 🌿 The last one sold out in just minutes — so if you missed out, now’s your chance! Seats are limited, so hop on board before this one fills up too! 😱🌱 Edible Garden Adventure

Our Edible Garden Adventure sold out within a few minutes!

Due to demand, we’ve scheduled another coach, hosted by gardening expert and personality Darren Seinor.

Tickets on sale now via this link: https://tinyurl.com/EdibleGardenAdventureDarren

Limited tickets available. They will sell out.
Celebrate our first Edible Garden Adventure and join us for a day of inspiration, exploration and conversation, as we board the coach and explore seven different edible gardens within the City of Kalamunda and surrounds with our special tour host, Darren Seinor.

Brought to you by Kalamunda Garden Festival.

Edible Garden Adventure is about celebrating home growers and their gardens, providing a platform for learning, where you can be empowered and experience practical and achievable ways to grow food at home.

We will explore productive gardens and see how different gardeners are growing their own food. You’ll be able to speak with the gardeners themselves, learn from their experiences, and score heaps of tips you can take home for your own garden.

Some of the gardens haven’t been open to the public before, so this is a real treat.
