City walk after a night shift 🏙️I’m looking as if I am not tired, as if I haven’t done four night shifts in a row. As if life is beautiful and carefree 😎🍃

I’m now doing Neurology - one of the smartest medical specialties in the face of the earth! 🤓🧠Stroke calls and thrombolysis became my every day thing. I’m seeing nightmares where I’m being repeatedly asked “Where is the lesion?”. I can do a decent full hand or foot neurological examination and test all dermatomes without embarrassing myself (most of the time 🤪) So much more to learn! Enjoying every day 🤓

JDocs: Introduction to Surgical skills 🪡Someone was cutting and suturing pork bellies in the lab all day 😎 proud of myself being able to put things together quite nicely and neatly. Learned wound management and minor surgical procedures✨can’t show you photos, but believe me there were some beautiful surgical work 😄

Today I learned a bit more about non-invasive ventilation: CPAP, BIPAP and HFNP. I played with the machines a got quite a few insights how else I can use flow and pressure adjustments to provide even better ventilation support for our patients. Espresso in ventilation of people with COPD. 🌬️ It is amazing how advanced technologies are these days… This particular machine is able to maintain static FiO2 and titrate PEEP and PS automatically 🙏🏻 We are surrounded by pure miracles, but we are so used to them so we call them ordinary things…
