Take a moment for yourself this weekend with a quick yoga flow! It's a great way to relax, relieve stress, and centre your mind.
Perfect for adults and children alike, these gentle movements can help you recharge and find balance. Give it a try!
🧘♀️Lotus Pose: A seated meditation pose where you cross your legs with your feet resting on your thighs. This pose helps improve flexibility and concentration.
🧘♀️Cow Pose: A gentle backbend on hands and knees where you arch your back, lift your tailbone, and raise your head to look forward. It helps stretch the spine and improve posture.
🧘♀️Cat Pose: The counterpart to cow pose, cat pose involves rounding your back, tucking your chin, and drawing your tailbone under. It helps improve flexibility and relieves tension in the spine.
🧘♀️Downward Dog Pose: A pose where you form an inverted 'V' shape with your body, hands and feet on the ground. It stretches the entire body, strengthens arms and legs, and energises the body.
🧘♀️Warrior Pose: There are several variations, but generally, warrior poses involve standing with your legs wide apart, bending one knee, and extending your arms. These poses build strength and stability.
🧘♀️Ragdoll Pose: A forward fold where you bend at the waist and let your upper body hang loosely, knees slightly bent. It releases tension in the back and improves flexibility.
🧘♀️Cobra Pose: A gentle backbend where you lie on your stomach and lift your chest using your arms for support. This pose strengthens the back and shoulders and opens the chest.
🧘♀️Child Pose: A resting pose where you sit back on your heels, stretch your arms forward, and rest your forehead on the ground. It relieves stress and gently stretches the spine.
🧘♀️Hero Pose: A seated pose where you sit on your heels, keeping your spine straight. It improves posture and can be meditative or restful.
