🌟 Our VIC Team had an amazing day on Wednesday at Thrive Together Melbourne 2026, hosted by ! 💛✨

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with NDIS participants, families, carers, and sector professionals — all coming together to share ideas, build relationships, and focus on better outcomes in disability and health. 🤝🌿

A major highlight was hearing from the Disability Liaison Team, who shared valuable insights on how providers can better support safe and successful Hospital-to-Home transitions. Such important work! 🏥➡️🏡

We were also very pleased to be joined by Ed and Shani from — thank you both for your partnership and support on the day. 💙🙌

At Surgical House, we’re proud to play our part — providing reliable consumables, helpful guidance, and supportive customer care to NDIS participants and their care teams across the community.

☕🌿 What a morning! Our NDIS Coffee Connect today was a full house — and it’s easy to see why.

We were thrilled to be joined by Laura Little, WA State Manager at National Disability Services (NDS), the peak body for disability service providers across Australia. Laura shared a very timely, honest and insightful update on the State of the Sector. From advocacy to practical tools, she gave us plenty to think about and take back to our work.

A huge thank you to Laura, her team, and our amazing sponsors — Joe & Dee from Nestlé Health Science and Ellen from Essity — for helping make this morning so special.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, and to welcome new friends to our Coffee Connect community. And of course, our Easter Egg Hunt added a little festive fun with 3 lucky winners! 🐣

Part 3: Coffee with Nurse Next Door Canterbury 💛

Cass recently sat down for a coffee with Winnie Tabuena, owner of Nurse Next Door Home Care Services Canterbury.

With 30 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse, Winnie brings incredible knowledge across aged care, palliative care, wound care, Alzheimer’s support and home care services. 🩺

What stood out most was her genuinely caring nature and vibrant personality—someone who can bring a smile to any situation 💫

Winnie and her team are doing wonderful work providing home care and wound assessments in the community, and we’re proud to support them. 💚

What a fantastic day out at the TEAM SABA CLASSIC! ⛳☘️

Surgical House was thrilled to once again be part of the Saba Rose Button Foundation Golf Day, held this year on St Patrick’s Day – and what a celebration it was! 💚

Our team, led by Operations Manager Craig Dalgarno alongside our great mate and trusted partner Grant Firth from Trugrade Truwipes, had an absolute blast out on the course.

In true Aussie 'end of summer' fashion, the heat turned it up to 36 degrees 🔥 – but the Surgical House hydration station kept everyone cool and refreshed 💧🙌

Even better… the Surgical House team took out the win on the day 🏆 (and Craig also snagged Closest to the Pin 🎯👏) – we couldn’t be more chuffed!

Most importantly, we’re so proud to support such an incredible cause. It’s wonderful to see another hugely successful event raising vital funds for the children supported by the Saba Rose Button Foundation 💛

A big thank you to Kirst, Mick, and the whole TEAM SABA crew for your warm hospitality and an exceptionally well-run day.
