Congratulations to our very own Dr Helen Wilcox! 👏🥳

Dr Helen has been appointed as the new Dean of UWA Medical School – an outstanding achievement for an exceptional GP. She has been serving as the Interim Dean and Head of School since earlier this year and is the first GP to hold this prestigious position at UWA .

Dr Helen is also known for her advocacy for doctors' mental health and wellbeing, serving as the Medical Director of the Doctors’ Health Advisory Service in Western Australia since March 2022

We celebrated with a lovely morning tea and a beautiful bouquet of flowers to congratulate Dr Helen on her achievement.

Meet Dr Liesl Larsen, the newest addition to the Shenton Park General Practice team! ✨

Dr Liesl is a GP Registrar originally from Brisbane who moved west for her medical training, and hasn’t looked back! She has returned to Shenton Park General Practice to complete the final stage of her GP training.

Over the past eight years, Liesl has worked across Perth’s public and private hospitals as well as in a variety of general practices.

Her special interests include:
🔵 women’s health
🔵 children’s health
🔵 preventative medicine

Although, she enjoys caring for patients of all ages and stages. Liesl has also completed the Sydney Child Health Program (SCHP) to further her expertise in paediatrics.

Outside of medicine, Liesl loves spending time with her young family and making the most of everything Perth has to offer.
