There is currently a global shortage of intravenous fluids. This shortage is impacting all sectors of healthcare industry in Australia including WA Iron centre as we are not able to order any intravenous Saline that is a vital ingredient for iron infusions.

At the moment we have enough stock to see us through while the government, TGA and suppliers try to find a solution and we are working hard to secure more stock.

WAIC is still taking bookings and will continue to keep our valuable referrers and patients informed as we learn more over the next few weeks.
