All our counsellors are sufficiently trained and have a great understanding of CBT, Psychodynamics & Mindfulness. All our counsellors are registered members of the Australian Counselling Association and are required to maintain ongoing professional development and supervision to ensure you are getting the best possible service. We ensure that all ethical procedures are adhered to, we will ask you to sign an ethical agreement at the commencement of your initial appointment. We are fully insured!

Sundays just levelled up 👊
Recently, our team noticed something pretty cool…

On Sundays, a few of our mentors were already supporting young men of similar ages and in similar locations 🤝

Instead of staying separate, they thought:
Why not link up and turn it into a group thing?
Giving clients the chance to meet others, build social skills, and grow confidence together.

So far, the boys have:
⛳ Played mini golf at Wanneroo Botanic Gardens
🌳 Kicked back in the park with a game of Finska
☕ Hit up Starbucks
🎳 Gone ten-pin bowling at Zone Bowling

Our participant recently enjoyed a refreshing day at the pool, walking through shallow areas, exploring different sections, and staying active in a calm and supportive environment. 💙

Beyond being great exercise, swimming is a powerful boost for mental wellness and overall mood. The water creates a relaxing space that eases stress, supports gentle movement, and helps the body stay active without strain. Plus, the rhythmic motion and soothing sensation of the water offer a fun, mindful experience that helps clear the mind and keep you present in the moment.🧠

Recently, one of our participants decided to take on a new challenge: an overnight camping trip. He stepped into the experience with an open mind, ready to learn and try something different. ✨

From taking the lead in his own camping tasks to cooking outdoors, enjoying a peaceful bushwalk, and spotting animals like koalas and kangaroos, he navigated a new environment with confidence and curiosity. 🌿

One of our participants enjoyed a relaxing day picking his own strawberries, a simple yet meaningful activity that’s both calming and rewarding. 🌞

It’s also a great way to stay active, practice focus, and engage the senses. Each berry picked became a little moment of mindfulness, making the experience not only fun but also beneficial for memory and coordination. 💭

S​ome of our participants took some time to go for a walk recently — along the boardwalk, through the park, under the trees, and by the beach. ​🌅

Walking isn’t just good exercise — it’s a chance to breathe, recharge, and reconnect. 💭 It helps clear the mind, ease stress, and improve focus and mental clarity. Sometimes a few steady steps are all you need to feel grounded again. 👣

Taking time to move, explore, and enjoy the world around us reminds us that self-care doesn’t always mean stopping — sometimes it’s simply about walking forward. ​💚
