This week is Volunteering Australia National Volunteer Week: the country’s largest celebration of the important role that volunteers play in our communities.

This year’s theme is ‘Connecting Communities’, exploring the power of volunteering to bring people together.

As a group, we have changed lives. Our own lives have also been enriched by the camaraderie and connections we’ve made along the way.

So if you’re considering volunteering but are still unsure, we’d say “go for it”. You’ll get so much more out of it than you expect.
