Sorry, I won’t be at the Auscycling MTB Enduro Nationals this year.

I’ve had a few people asking if I’m back in Collie this year but unfortunately I won’t be setting up in race village.

If you need some patching up or advice, I will be catching some of the action on Thursday and Sunday and will have some tape and cups on hands just flick me a message on messenger or Insta.

Alternatively, the Dōjō (located in Perth metro, Kelmscott), although fully booked, will have some limited availability for riders Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday this week.

Recovery appointments available Monday and Tuesday next week by contacting Heather.

Looking forward to watching the action. Let’s go enduro! Yew!

A few weeks ago I attended a Heidi Health event in Perth.

Heidi is now helping me in clinic to take quality and thorough notes for you.
I expect you to experience Heidi with many health professionals in the future but most importantly you will experience a more engaged interaction.

I finally have a small selection of products available to purchase with plans to expand!

You can order via contacting me on text or email and collect at an organised time or you can purchase when you are at your appointment.

In clinic tester product of Premax recovery cream, warm up cream, chamois cream and sports sunscreen.

Other products include RockTape, cork massage balls, bath salts, Pickle Juice, supplements, heat packs with washable covers, essential oil blends.

In 2020 a study concluded that myofascial decompression (cupping therapy with active movement) had a significant effect on the flexibility of hamstrings.
The study also concluded that self management of foam rolling and heat application also improved hamstring flexibility but cupping therapy had a greater positive effect.

Winter is back in full swing but it’s always warm in the Dōjō.

Every winter when the temperature drops and the sun no longer warms the cold days, the treatment table gets a winter upgrade and becomes a heated table! 🔥

Paired with an increase in temperature from the reverse cycle unit and cooking hot stones in the corner, the Dōjō is the place to spend some time.

Please let me know when you arrive if you prefer it warmer or cooler as I am happy to adjust to your comfort levels.

Hot stone massage isn’t just a spa indulgence — it’s a powerful ally to remedial massage work.

In April I upskilled and added hot stones to my clinical toolbox.
I tend to use the stones to warm up the body (and my hands 🤪) in the beginning and I have found myself using the edge of the hot stones in a similar way to blades throughout the treatment.
As someone who is very high energy, I personally find they instantly calm me when worked along my spine and the heat absorbs deep into my body.
I’ve had so much positive feedback and many clients have requested I use them in following sessions.

I’m a bit late to the party but the Auscycling Enduro Mountain Bike Nationals was a blast!
I was super busy and this is one of the very few photos I have of me working (I was also wearing shoes 😜)
Thanks to all the athletes and supporters who came to the mobile Dōjō.

I’ll be at the next WAGE round at Linga Longa Bike Park but hopefully I’ll be racing for the first time this season so I’ll be around for taping or patch ups if need.
Then the last event for the year will be the Ironman in Busselton for after event massage and post event massage (Monday)
