This Cabernet won a gold medal at the NSW Wine Awards 2024, remarkable for a wine of its price.

"Very deep, saturated purple-red colour; very youthful, somewhat raw blackcurrant aroma, palate also a tad and aggressive with some edges needing time to soften. A bell-clear varietal cabernet and very primary, arguably a bit singular, and will be better in another year or two. But it's great value. "

STROFILIA ESTATE – Crazy Bird Rosé

LOCATION
Asprokampos: Vineyards at an altitude of 800 m on the Stymfalia plateau. PGI Peloponnese.

VINIFICATION
Destemming and pressing of grapes, extraction for 3 hours and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15° C for about 15 days.

CHARACTERISTICS
Light pink colour with aromas of red fruits and notes of herbs and flowers. It is characterised by its pleasant acidity, balanced taste and its long-lasting fruity aftertaste.

We are thrilled to share of Tamburlaine Organic Wines success at a number of recent important Wine Shows!

With the busy holiday season quickly approaching, you won't want to miss out having these outstanding wines while celebrating the festive season!

The NSW Governor's Trophy for 2024 NSW Wine of the Year went to Tamburlaine Organic Wines 2023 Reserve Orange Syrah. The NSW wine Industry came together in Sydney on 1 November 2024 for the 2024 ICC Sydney NSW Wine Awards.

Hosted at ICC Sydney, 20 trophies were handed out including the NSW Governor’s Trophy for the 2024 NSW Wine of the Year, presented by Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC.

This year’s top trophy winner breaks an almost decade-long winning streak by Hunter Valley wines, with Tamburlaine Organic Wines taking top honours with its 2023 Reserve Orange Syrah.

“Most Successful Exhibitor” major trophy, as well as top gold for the following Varietals in their individual class categories.
