Why some injuries keep coming back
One of the most common frustrations we see in clinic is when an injury seems to improve… only to flare up again once training, running, gym or sport resumes.
This pattern often shows up in:
• Runner’s knee
• Achilles pain
• Ankle sprains
• Shoulder pain from gym
• Tennis elbow or gripping pain
• Hamstring strains
• ACL rehab and return to sport
In many cases, it’s not simply a matter of needing more rest.
Recurring injuries often come back when:
• the original issue hasn’t been fully identified
• rehab hasn’t matched the demands of your activity or sport
• strength and load tolerance haven’t been rebuilt enough
• return to sport happens too soon
