💎 Taking refuge is something that all beings do. Every person in the world is looking for happiness, but most seek it in the outer world - in fame, their career, partnership, house, etc. One can't deny that these things give us satisfaction, but these sources of happiness are not lasting.

Buddha taught that the real source of refuge is not the outer, changing world, or even our inner changing thoughts and feelings - but Mind itself.

🎥 We are beyond excited to share that the international award-winning film Meeting the Buddha is coming to Australia, premiering in Perth on Thursday, 26 February.

This documentary presents the life and legacy of the 16th Karmapa, Rangjung Rigpe Dorje, known to be a Living Buddha and as the King of the Yogis of Tibet.

The independent film explores the profound bond between teacher and student and follows Lama Ole and his wife Hannah, who became key figures in bringing Tibetan Buddhism to the West. They founded hundreds of meditation centres (from Mexico City to Vladivostok) carrying forward the 16th Karmapa’s vision with unshakeable dedication.

This is a very special, one-off event - you won’t want to miss it!

We've added a link in the comments to take you to the website where you can buy tickets 🎟

🧘‍♂️Buddha explained in great detail how we shape our future through our thoughts, words and actions.

What we do accumulates positive and negative impressions in our mind. Knowing this gives us great freedom and puts us back in control of our lives.

Karma isn't fate. We can choose not to do harm and avoid creating the causes of future suffering.

To sow the seeds for positive results, we need to engage in positive actions.
