We’ve just wrapped up a beautiful 10-day Rounding Retreat and I’m still feeling the softness of it all.
Each time I guide a retreat, I’m reminded how much can shift when we step away from daily life for a while.
the body becomes more open, the mind steadier, laughter comes more easily, and stress starts to fall away.

We’re so lucky to have the Raju family Ayurvedic doctors visiting Perth this year — September 4–8, 2025.

The Rajus are one of the most respected Ayurvedic families in the world. Their lineage of physicians goes back many generations, and they were the personal doctors to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

We first met the family through our teacher , and we’ve been working with them ever since. Many in our community already have Ayurvedic care with them.

Fulfillment doesn’t come from finding your purpose.

Many of us are taught to chase purpose like it’s a fixed destination. We believe that once we discover the right path, everything will fall into place.

But purpose isn’t a single role or identity. It’s your ability to respond to what life is asking of you, here and now.

This is what we call dharma: your personal role in the evolution of things, for this moment.

Through regular meditation and inner connection, you begin to meet life with more clarity, steadiness and adaptability. Fulfillment grows naturally from there.

And from fulfillment, the next step always reveals itself.

We all wonder what we can do every day to improve our health and lead a more balanced lifestyle. It’s important to remember that we can’t expect to feel different or see changes in our lives without being willing to change anything. The changes don’t have to be big—just one or two small adjustments each day. Gradually, these little things build up, creating space for meaningful change in our lives.

One of the first changes I made that really supported my practice was getting up 20mins earlier.

By doing one of my twice daily meditations first thing it meant I only needed to fit one in during my day and this helped me to be successful in getting my twice daily practice in. Meditating is a bit like jumping in the ocean on a cold day - once you’re in, you never regret it!

We often talk about stress like it’s the enemy. But stress is a natural and healthy part of life—it helps us meet challenges and stay alert.

The problem starts when stress lingers. When your nervous system stays in that heightened state, it stops serving you and starts running the show.

You’ve probably heard me mention “rounding” — but what is it, really?

It’s a simple sequence we use in Vedic Meditation to settle the body and clear deeper layers of stress.
Gentle movement, breathwork, meditation, and rest — done in a specific order.
It’s not complicated. It’s just a very effective way to feel lighter, clearer, and more grounded.
If you’d like to try it, we run Rounding Club most Saturday mornings.
It’s a great way to deepen your practice and give your nervous system some love.

In Western culture, Consciousness can be described as being “awake” and aware of what’s going on.

In the Vedic tradition, Consciousness is something deeper.
It is part of the Unified Field, the place from which everything arises - your desires, your thoughts, your body, the entirity of manifestation.

Meditation isn’t about changing your thoughts, stopping your thoughts or not having desires.
It’s about reconnecting with that deeper field, so you can live with less brain clutter and more bliss, clarity, softness, and stability—no matter what’s happening around you

VEDIC MEDITATION

Vedic Meditation is an ancient technique taught in the foothills of the Himalayas, India. VM is unique because it not only relaxes you, but it helps to un-stress your body / mind / nervous system. This form of meditation helps to relieve anxiety, panic attacks, lack of clarity, body pains, general feelings of stress, and so much more.

VM utilises mantra meditation and is completely effortless. One of the best things about this technique is that you don't need to quieten your mind (or sit like a zen yogi), so it is the perfect practice for people who live in the western world and can't seem to quieten their mind / thoughts. Meditation is not about withdrawing from life but learning how to access that space within oneself, where we are able to enjoy the experience of life without being overwhelmed or consumed by it.
