Postpartum hunger is communication, not a problem.

Your body is healing, hormones are shifting, and if you’re breastfeeding, your energy needs increase by around 300–500 extra calories per day — that's more than pregnancy! Restriction only worsens fatigue, slows recovery and doesn’t help milk supply.
