In the lead-up to ANZAC Day, the Australian documentary Under a Bamboo Sky shares the powerful true stories of Australian WWII prisoners of war told in their own voices. We are currently working to reconnect with the descendants of 63 soldiers featured in the film. Could your family be connected?

Thank you to all the people who supported us on the night…..❤️

What an incredible night! To everyone who showed up, donated, bid, or simply supported, thank you. Your generosity and energy created something truly special.

Together, we raised close to our $30,000 goal (hitting $25,000), an incredible show of support from everyone involved. Every ticket, every auction bid, every mystery prize, and every kind gesture played a part in making this possible.

The funds raised will directly support programs that make a real difference in the lives of veterans, first responders, and their families.

From the laughter to the dancing, and everything in between, this event wasn’t just about fundraising it was about community, connection, and coming together for a purpose that matters.

WEST COAST VETERAN COLLABORATIVE EVENT 21 Jun 25

“Join forces with Us” for an evening of entertainment, food, prizes and fun in support of local WA Veteran and First Responder charities.

We have started something new, joining forces with five likeminded service focussed veteran charities in WA to support one another. While we all have slightly different remits in the veteran support world, but we are all complementary and have decided that we are ‘Stronger Together’, so have created a charity event to raise funds to support our local WA veteran community (and beyond).

The five charities teaming up are Invisible Injuries , Working Spirit,
Wyvern Resilience, Our Veteran’s Haven and RSLWA Joondalup Sub-branch.

I bought this book recently and it was hand delivered to my address here in Perth.

The author is a local West Australian and is tales of his WA Police Diving experiences.

I'm only a couple of pages in and am hooked.
