Series – Post 4/4

“Leaking when you sneeze might be common, but it’s not normal.”

👉 Here’s one thing you can try today: before you cough, sneeze, or lift, breathe out gently and engage your pelvic floor like you’re stopping a wee. It’s called “the knack,” and it helps protect your core and pelvic floor.

Pelvic health is real health, and you don’t have to put up with symptoms.

“Chronic pain isn’t just in your back or pelvis, it impacts your whole nervous system.”
That’s why pacing matters.

👉 Try the “50% rule”: do half of what you think you can on a good day. If you think you can walk 20 minutes, start with 10. That way, you’ll still feel good tomorrow.

Over time, your body will adapt to increase your capacity to tolerate more! = more movement

“Pain during exercise isn’t always ‘normal soreness.’”

For young, active women: knee pain when running, hip pinching in Pilates, or back ache after long desk hours are early signs your body needs support.

👉 Golden rule: if pain lingers for more than 48 hours, don’t just push through. Get it checked.

Your 20s and 30s are for building habits that protect you for decades, not grinding yourself into injury.

Series – Post 1/4

“Ladies, don’t ignore that little ache or stiffness. It may be your body whispering before it starts shouting.”

👉 Quick self-check: When was the last time you got up off the floor without using your hands? Can you still do it now? If it was a struggle, this is your sign to work on your lower limb strength and mobility.

✨ Mobility is like language, use it or you lose it. The earlier you act, the easier it is to keep moving with confidence.

🌸 This Women’s Health Week, we celebrate YOU. 🌸
Every day, we are privileged to witness stories of courage, resilience, and transformation. Strength looks different for every woman, and that’s what makes it so powerful.

💜 One woman rebuilt her life after multiple spinal fractures through the support of Clinical Pilates.

💜 Another patient worked with our dietitian, Natasha, and lost 66kg, reversed her diabetes, and found the freedom to run with her grandkids.
