I heard something interesting today. Growth is not pleasant.

We think that growth is getting into alignment with our desires and this will feel great. But in truth growth is often painful. It can be anything from being in deep thought, processing what has happened to us and what we need to do next, to feeling like grief, as our personality lets go of what we were, to become who we are.

When we resist the easiest path, life feels hard. It can feel like we never get what we want. I found out this week that sometimes life will take you the long way round, as the shortest route is too painful. Too much at once. So do not be mad with yourself if you feel like life is confusing, hard or boring. It will change. It always does.

If you feel like you are falling apart, if you feel like life feels hard, you are right on target for a big change. I feel that spirit wants us to see the hardness and the falling apart as a sign we are on the way to something better. We often see it as the end of the road, the worst thing that could happen to us. When we get stuck in our pain, it feels like nothing else exists.

I am the worst person for not listening to my higher self. I will admit it, when things go wrong, I can get caught up in the pain of others and my own pain and can often not tell the difference. I am so sensitive. I get told to be the observer, to not let it in, and then I let it in and I fall apart. I am learning.

If you feel a bit flat, it is a collective pain. We are releasing the pain of the old Earth. We cannot bring in the new without releasing the old. But we can try to find joy in the little things while we grow.

Even in grief it is possible to find some joy. I understand that we are releasing our pain individually and collectively. We are all one. There is the ending of the old Earth and the rising of the new Earth. Peace and love. So you may feel conflicted. Happy, sad all over the place.

We are literally giving birth to a New Earth and this comes with pain, and joy. When you think about it, go stand on the Earth and let her fill you with her love. And send her love back so we can all heal together.

Have you noticed there is a lot going on, on the world stage? Is it real? Maybe. Maybe not. But one thing is for sure and that is we are all getting distracted by it and not doing the inner work.

What is the inner work? It is us becoming aware of how we are living and where we have our heads stuck in the sand. We are evolving and like it or not, if we have chosen to ascend to a higher dimension, we will be feeling the growing pains right now.

Some people, will be experiencing the dark night of the soul, where life feels overwhelming and hopeless and what is the point. Wanting to blow up their lives. And some of us are severely stuck in survival mode and hanging onto our money, relationships for dear life, not wanting to have any change.

But the universe is shaking us loose. God or the universe or whoever you believe in, is shaking us and making us drop all of our baggage and forcing us to look at our fears.

The dark energies know this and they are keeping us enthralled with disasters around the world instead of looking inside of us to find the light. I am not saying we should not be praying for people in hardship or caught in war, please send them love and imagine them safe. I am saying, we are not to be so distracted that we forget to look at our own lives.

Being in a higher vibrational state ourselves will lift the people in troubled zones. The more of us that deal with our stuff and then become lighter, the easier it will be for people who are suffering to feel the lighter energy and they will be lifted too, almost with little effort. Because we are all connected.

I know it is hard to look inside when we are fearful of losing people, situations, jobs, things, money etc. But when we finally go oh well, what will be will be, I will still stand my ground, leave the job, take the opportunity, walk away from the friendship, whatever change you need to make and you do it, even with the fear inside of you, life changes. Life becomes lighter.

Easter this year has been a portal of change. It is a time for us all to look at life and see what else we can prune away to bring new growth. It may not look pretty but it is necessary.

Please look after yourself this next few weeks as we all move through this new energy. Remember to look inside and clear what is there before getting caught up in the outside world.

What is going on? You may be asking right about now... There is a huge energy at the moment of mixed emotions and we are all feeling it.

Earth is shedding and so are we. As we progress through this year we will be asked to drop a lot of baggage. We are also being asked to drop the pretence, the mask. It feel weird, it feels awful to be so honest and risk hurting people, but it is necessary now.

We have gone past the stage of being able to keep the peace, please others to be safe, or to pretend we are not aware of what is going on around us. Going forward, it is raw, honest and open.

We may resist it, but that will just make it worse. So expect, boundaries to be tested, friendships and relationships to be tested, some people will walk away, some will distance themselves, some will grow closer.

Now is the time to be extremely gentle with yourself. If you are feeling despair, depressed or overwhelmed do some self care. It is essential now.

Lots of stuff we thought we had dealt with is also coming up now. the key word being triggers. It is a deep final cleanse.
