Many go into k!nk having assumptions from social media, societal narratives, upbringing, movies, p**n etc

These assumptions can often limit someone's willingness to dabble or try k!nk, negatively effect experiences they have within k!nk, create disconnect between the person they're exploring with and in some cases it can lead to harm.

In my k!nk 101 workshop I debunk many of the common assumptions and misconceptions around k!nk & BD$M. 🔗 in my b!o.

Something I practice and use in my 'nilla life just as much as my kink life. Safe words can provide trust and safety in any situation where you may require a check in or see that the person you're interacting with might. Due to trauma, neurodiversity or stress we can lose our words and/or capacity to convey what we are feeling or needing. Having a simple go to code word gives everyone a tool to prompt a check in. Whether it's a difficult conversion with someone close, joking around that goes too far or intimacy where you need a pause. A simple 'yellow' can be a great way to prompt connection instead of potential reactivity, defensiveness or shut down.
