Five foods to help you get things movin

Kiwi: Kiwi contains fibre to add bulk to your stool, water to soften stool, and a natural enzyme called actinidin that speeds up digestion

Flaxseeds: Packed with both soluble and insoluble fibre which add bulk to p**p and helps to soften, stimulating bowel movements to keep things regular

Chia: Rich in soluble fibre which absorbs water and forms a gel, softening p**p and making it easier to pass

Lentils: High in fibre helping to add bulk, drawing water into stool, while feeding your gut bacteria to support regular, well-formed bowel movements

Rolled oats: Rich in soluble fibre - absorbing water to soften stool and supports good gut bacteria

Rest = productivity

Let’s unpack resting and digesting 💤

When you’re constantly on the move, stressed and under-recovered, your body changes gear from rest and digest and into fight or flight. This causes digestion to either slow down or speed up, despite making no changes to your diet

Rest helps to calm the nervous system which inevitably improves digestion, supports comfortable and regular bowel movements and helps to reduce overall gut sensitivity

So, in resting, focusing on slow, gentle movement and doing less, can actually help your gut do more (in the best way) in the long run
