I’m very excited to be presenting at this fantastic event on 'Living Well with Dementia' and am working hard to create a fun, engaging, and informative presentation. As a neurological physiotherapist, I’ll be offering practical insights into how dementia impacts thinking - with a focus on everyday strategies for maximising connection, brain health, communication, and more.

This will be a strengths-based and positive session, designed to support and uplift. It will be valuable for people living with dementia, family members and loved ones providing support, and staff wanting a deeper understanding of this complex and often misunderstood condition.

The Ageing Well Stage offers intimate and engaging sessions across two days, with expert talks, entertainment, and practical insights on ageing well.

At Absolute Care Therapy, we run small group CST programs with just 4–6 participants and two trained facilitators, from our welcoming boutique clinic in Melville.

Led by myself—a physiotherapist with over 23 years of clinical experience—our sessions are tailored to each group’s interests, offering high-level cognitive stimulation, social connection, and plenty of fun.

Loneliness isn’t just a feeling – it can impact the brain!
Regular, meaningful conversation supports memory, mood, and wellbeing. 💬💙

Being around people doesn’t always mean someone isn't lonely. It’s the connection that matters - feeling heard and understood.

People living with dementia can find it hard to follow conversations in noisy or busy settings. A calm, supportive environment and your full attention can mean everything.

Friends... if you know someone living with dementia, I urge you to get them to consider attend this FREE 1-hour virtual website. There is a lot that can be done to support both the person living with dementia, and the heroes providing support in the background - but sadly most people aren't aware.

Inform yourself and take positive action for yourself and your loved ones.
