We’re very pleased to share a significant win for our profession.

Over the past couple of weeks, AHA has been in active discussions with Medibank Private regarding proposed changes to private health insurance eligibility for clinical hypnotherapists.

As our largest current provider, it was concerning to see that under the new program, clinical hypnotherapy would have effectively lost access to Medibank Private rebates due to the revised conditions.

We are now delighted to confirm that, following ongoing dialogue and advocacy, Medibank Private has now accepted our proposed amendments.

This means clinical hypnotherapists will continue to be eligible for Medibank Private health insurance rebates.

A meaningful outcome for our members and the profession as a whole, and most importantly, the clients we support.
