RSL WA’s Psychiatric Assistance Dogs Pilot Program – a collaboration between RSL WA and Kaizen K9 – is making great progress.

Over the pilot program, four puppies are being trained to become certified psychiatric assistance dogs, each getting paired with a veteran to provide vital mental health support.

We extend our thanks to everyone who has contributed to the program’s success so far – including the State Government and Minister Paul Papalia for their support, Kaizen K9 for their dedicated training effort, Dr Richard Magtengaard for his valuable expertise and Dr Garnett Hall (Fremantle Animal Hospital).

We look forward to sharing more updates on this life-changing initiative soon.
