Midland Meals is seeking donations of blankets and sleeping bags ahead of the cooler weather 🥶

If you have any blankets or sleeping bags in good, clean condition that you no longer need, we would greatly appreciate your support.

🌿 A Change of Plans for June’s Celebration 🌿
Mum was never one for a grand entrance or a fuss. She was the one who quietly got things done, moving through life with a steady calmness and a heart full of kindness.
In that same spirit of looking after everyone, we are moving her celebration to a safer "sanctuary" to keep our family and friends away from the wind and rain of Cyclone Narelle.

🤩 MEET BEAR 🤩

Bear is a Boerboel, a South African Mastiff who weighs in at an impressive 82 kg of hugs and kisses 💋

Bear recently visited us for his 6 monthly health check. Biannual check ups are especially important for pets on long-term medications as they allow our vets to monitor organ function, adjust dosages if needed to prevent toxicity, and keep an eye on age related conditions such as arthritis or kidney disease.

Regular check-ups are particularly important for our senior patients, as they can develop subtle or hidden health issues that progress quickly if left unnoticed.

The Boerboel breed was historically developed in South Africa for their incredible strength and resilience. They were bred to protect farms and homesteads, even standing guard against large predators such as lions and hyenas 🦁
