ProbeLogic had the privilege of attending the EMUGs Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) POCUS event in Melbourne last Saturday.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity to connect with doctors, clinicians and attendees in their respective fields, discuss the importance of ultrasound probe protection, and share insights into our repair and servicing solutions as a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new probes.

We were also excited to introduce and promote Wisonic ultrasound machines to the Australian market, including a live demonstration of the Piloter unit. This impressive system is specifically designed for MSK, pain management, rehabilitation, anaesthesia, vascular, and general imaging, featuring state-of-the-art Doppler imaging and Fine Needle Aspiration (wiGuide).

Ever wondered how ProbeLogic repairs a damaged ultrasound lens?

The answer might surprise you...a Revolver. And no, not the kind made famous by Dirty Harry. Our Revolver is a precision-engineered system designed specifically for probes with convex lenses.

Depending on the size of the array, one of three Revolver configurations is selected. The probe is then aligned against the target rings.

Once mounted, a specialised lens material is applied over the exposed array. The Revolver is then activated, and a programmed sequence precisely controls the motion to match the exact probe model. The result? A remarkably accurate and consistent lens rebuild.

And here’s the final twist: the Revolver itself is designed and manufactured by ProbeLogic in house in our Perth facility.
