Happy Sunday Everyone!

It’s a cool but lovely day here in Perth and a weekend at home this week has allowed me to catch up on some gardening, housework and cooking! All the things that can often be monotonous…however, seem to grant us a sense of accomplishment, peace of mind and on a spiritual level, help to ground us while the world around us continues in its usual state of apparent chaos!

Peace, grounding and security are all needed in order to help us put our hearts and minds at ease…we can’t control what’s going on outside, but we can be the masters of our own energy, and of our own personal spaces. A great crystal for assisting us to achieve this sense of peace and security is Chiastolite.

Chiastolite is a variety of Andalusite, its distinct cross like inclusions are often formed as graphite or carbon are trapped symmetrically in a cross like pattern, while the crystal forms over time.

Traditionally seen as a protective talisman, the cross pattern often exhibited by Chiastolite, is deemed to deflect and shield against harm, lower vibrational energies and to ward off ‘ill-wishing’. Often referred to as ‘The stone of the middle path’, Chiastolite is said to assist us in finding grounding and balance during times of stress or transition… if we are unsure of our Way, finding our centre is sure to help!

For me, the X- like cross pattern of Chiastolite makes it a symbol of truth and protection, reminiscent of my early childhood and loved ones now crossed over. Their love and protection still gratefully felt and received.

Happy Sunday Everyone!

It’s a beautiful Autumn day here in Perth as we welcomed a New Moon in Ta**us at 4:01am this morning, Perth time. My apologies for posting our weekly guidance later today, but I was celebrating a dear friend’s milestone birthday with our respective families… so much joy! New moons are always a great time for starting anew, we just need to be motivated and passionate about how we go about it!

This New Moon is positively aspected for healing those old wounds we tend to keep buried, the ones that continue to fester and trigger, whether those wounds be physical, spiritual or emotional! It’s well and truly high time to get motivated!

A great crystal for assisting us to rip those bandaids off and finally motivate ourselves to look at what is festering underneath, is Fire Agate. Fire Agate, being from the chalcedony family, is a microcrystalline quartz that forms in beautiful, bubble like, wavy, botryoidal specimens that have iridescent colours that often see it mistaken for being opaline in nature…unlike Fire Opal, Fire Agate was formed over 36 million years ago through volcanic activity and boiling hot water, resulting in layers of silica and iron oxide that allow for all the vibrant, fiery colours that are often observed in these unique specimens.

Fire Agate is a crystal of action, assisting us to identify blockages and barriers that may be preventing us from achieving deep, true and honest healing… yes this work can be challenging, painful in some cases I grant you, but the wound only festers and grows without honest and effective treatment. Identifying the root cause of the issue, being truthful with ourselves about its creation, is imperative to the work at hand…but often this task is one too painful to undertake… Fire Agate can help us find the courage to take that step, to ‘grab the bull by the horns’ (well it is a new moon in Ta**us 😉) and truly get to the source of the pain, allowing us to heal it once and for all. This creates new opportunities for growth, this allows for passion, this brings us to a true sense of peace and Joy!

Bringing the energy today, for all who wish to receive it, of some beautiful Fire Agate set in a ‘flame’ inspired grid, supported by mini clear quartz tumbles and radiated and magnified with ‘beams’ of clear quartz points. With the New Moon semisextile Venus, the time is perfect for the giving and receiving of love and affection, for communicating with integrity and for the resolving of differences and disagreements that have gone on for far too long. Peace through determined action is achievable for those brave enough to approach the work though truth, integrity and a passion for peace. May the flame energy, caught in the last rays of the sun this evening, burn away the obstacles this week that prevent us from from achieving this Joy!

It’s Mother’s Day today here in Australia and a very happy Mother’s Day to all the mums and mother figures celebrating this special day. Today is a day that is bitter sweet for many, not everyone has had the privilege of a loving and nurturing childhood....some are missing mothers who have passed over and some are mothers with children absent or in spirit. Much love to all the deserving divine feminine energies in this world, today of all days. Of all the days… today is a great time to discuss the energy of the Divine Feminine ….

Around the world there is a surge against oppression and violence towards women...no longer will the Divine Feminine accept the blame and deflection from those who perpetrate and perpetuate Her dishonourable treatment ...the responsibility lies Solely with those who harm and it is time for ALL to take responsibility for the energy their actions have caused… and the part they have played in Her wounding. Now is the time for Accountability!

In order to heal and work through this energy, we must first acknowledge its existence through the ages, the effects and energetic imprints of which have been carried down through the generations of our precious Mothers and their children. Healing these familial line traumas, these patterns and cycles of abuse, begin with the acknowledgment that these wounds exist, that they have occurred, that they are valid, and that we must all be involved in the process if the energy of The Mother is ever going to be healed. This is imperative to the very survival of us as a species... as this violence translates even towards the loving earth that we rely upon for our existence.

A great crystal for assisting us to work through trauma, to acknowledge our responsibility, to acknowledge our wounding, to heal and recover through accepting this part of our story, is Black Obsidian. Black Obsidian, long used in shadow work to help love and accept those parts of us we’d prefer not to acknowledge, is also a great crystal for assisting us in identifying, working through, understanding and ultimately releasing those negative abuse and control patterns we have been a part of. ‘All the World’s a stage’ after all, and throughout innumerable lifetimes, we have all played many parts... victim and perpetrator ...We are all responsible for our collective healing. It’s Enough now..and it’s Time.

Black Obsidian is also said to assist with precognition... I prefer it’s gift of honest foresight... it’s the very reason for its protective nature... forewarned is for-armed after all! But must we really always go to War with each other?

Fashioned in exquisite black Obsidian with Garnet Eyes, she takes no excuses, the work must begin. As protective as she is honourable, she only deals in Truth. Happy Sunday Everyone!

It’s a chilly but a sunny day here in Perth as many around the world are celebrating Beltane festivities, but for us here in the Southern Hemisphere it’s actually our Samhain.

Samhain, is all about the harvest, the fruits of our labours, Beltane is about possibilities, fertility and the planting of crops. Both celebrate with fire, the representation passion, warmth and the cleansing of energies…both celebrate the start of a new season in the wheel of the year.

Whether it’s Beltane or Samhain, symbolically this time of year is about effort, energy and where we place it. Manifestation , what we create, the fire and energy that we put into what we do and dream, determines the quality of our harvest… we reap what we sow. This energy determines whether we live in abundance or lack.

Two crystals perfect for this time of year are Carnelian… (yes I know we used this crystal a couple of weeks ago but it’s the combination this week that is needed!) …and if you are feeling a little brave, Yellow Opal. Carnelian exudes life and light energy and indeed loves to be cleansed in fire! Said to empower us with passion and enhancement of physical strength, Carnelian works with our Solar Plexus to assist us with motivation and the drive to succeed in achieving our desired outcomes. Yellow Opal, although assisting us towards more positive though patterns, creativity and inventiveness, is also a stone of karmic manifestation…use only when your thoughts are clear, in sync with your desired outcome and with a pure heart! This crystal can remove blockages but has the capacity to speed up the ‘reap what you sow’ scenario… so sow good things! Together, these crystals are a powerhouse of abundance when used together with the right intentions!

Happy Friday Everyone!

Some extra guidance for you all this week with a Full Moon in Scorpio, peaking at 1:23am May 2nd, Perth time. … although the energy has felt quite heavy in the lead up to this Full Moon, the energy should soon shift so by all means put your crystals out to charge this evening if you are so inclined…

If you are in the Northern Hemisphere, you will be experiencing a Flower Moon, while in the Southern Hemisphere we will be having our Frost/Hunter’s Moon as we enjoy some sunny autumn weather here in Perth. Happy May Day!

While a Full Moon in Scorpio can pack a sting,… with the Moon quincunx Venus, relationships can be tested where imbalances of love and energies are an issue, Moon quincunx Saturn can lead to an unhealthy imbalance between our work and personal lives…but Venus sextile Saturn offers us calming relief from these energies with live, compassion and harmony if we actively choose not to succumb to those quincunxes!! This Full Moon along with Venus and Saturn forms a ‘Yod’ striving aspect pattern, which bodes well for those planning a special project or mission! Let the motivation for success here be from a place of love… stay alert, plan carefully to ensure we don’t bite off more than we can chew! Humility and compassion are needed always!

This Full Moon aligns with the constellations of Centaur and Crux …the Centaur being traditionally cold hearted and affiliated with war, while Crux, while offering perseverance, is often associated with burden. Loyalty to your cause and soul family, dutiful dedication to the tasks at hand and perseverance from a place of love will get us through any tribulations presenting themselves over the next few weeks.

As usual, a full moon is always a great opportunity for the cleansing and release of energy that no longer serves us, so here is my usual ‘how to’ on clearing your energy chords and smudging your home or business spaces...the preceding and proceeding 8 hrs either side of the full moon are a great time for doing this cleansing and release work with Selenite! If you have a Selenite rod and wish to release energy that no longer serves you,

Sweeping your entire body with Selenite, make the following affirmation...

‘I now release all energy, chords, attachments and soul contracts that no longer serve my highest good, and I return them back to Source with love, light and healing. In love, faith and gratitude, I welcome abundance, Amen. (Amen is not a religious word, it stems from the Hebrew ‘to have faith’, meaning what you’ve asked for is done!)’

If wanting to smudge your home or business to release energy from your space that does not serve your highest good, (and white sage, ethically sourced from First Nation People in California is ALWAYS best for this no matter what people say about it in order to ‘flog’ you what they’re trying to sell) ask that ‘all energy that does not serve your highest good be returned to Source with love, light and healing’...as you move around your home or workspace with your lit white sage smudge stick, making sure the smudge reaches all corners, nooks and crannies! ...don’t forget to make sure your windows are open first and you will want to burn some lavender or diffuse some lavender oil in order to welcome back in the good energy when you’ve finished!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

It’s a rainy and cold day here in Perth but was overcast, calm and warm when I decided to head up to one of my favourite places, Cervantes, this weekend to unwind, relax and recharge… Even in less than favourable weather (or indeed energy!) however, we can always find a place of grounding and peace from the elements…and I’ll certainly be doing more of this, as this year charges ahead at a seemingly ever increasing pace!

Life, like the weather and like energy, is unpredictable at times and we often have periods of perceived light and dark, hot and cold, mild and extreme, life giving and yes, sometimes destructive…Finding a middle ground from which to process these lessons is imperative if we are to and understand just what these lessons mean for us, taking into account our individual responsibility for our part in any energy of that we perceive as unfavourable or unjust..as well as acknowledging and receiving with gratitude, the abundance we have created as a result of our actions and decisions that have brought that positive energy forth to us!

A great crystal (well technically it’s a ‘gantitoid’ that contains crystals) for helping us resolve our conflicts of ‘light and dark’ is Orbiculite or Orbicular Granite. Not actually granite because it contains Feldspar and Amphibolite (Hornblende), Orbiculite was formed by extreme volcanic activity over two and a half billion years ago, followed by rapid cooling. Relatively rare, Orbiculite has only three known deposits in the world, Finland, New Zealand and Western Australia (the piece today of course coming from the latter).

Rare Hornblende (Amphibolite) gets its name from the German ‘horn’ and ‘blenden’ which means ‘to deceive’, or ‘dazzle’… and alludes to its resemblance to some other metal bearing ore minerals… in fact, Amphibolite can assist us to make sense of all the ‘noise’ in times of chaos where ascertaining fact over fiction is imperative to discerning what is actually our Truth! …Amphibolite can help us to resolve conflict within ourselves, and with others… that does however, require the ability of self reflection and accountability, I understand this is not a tool everyone in our sphere possesses... only we can decide as individuals what our peace is worth!

Feldspar, relatively common by comparison and making up over 60% of the Earth’s crust, is known as a crystal of creativity and can help us see situations from different perspectives, allowing us to find unconventional solutions and ways to promote and bring abundance into our realities.

Thus, the properties of Orbiculite can give us the strength to weather the extremes of life in order to withstand the many ‘tests of time’…to find our peace and ground in our own confidence and to help us find the ability to understand, process and resolve the many ‘conflicting’ lessons of being Hu-man…leading us to shelter in the knowledge of Oneness.

Bringing the energy today for all who wish to receive it, of a stunning piece of Orbiculite, highlighting in its very appearance the balance and ‘Oneness’ of light and dark…an eternal theme …created previously in Cervantes and set in a grid with rays of tumbled Pink Tourmaline (for peace and tranquillity) and Clear Quartz Points (to enhance and magnify the energy of this grid). Life provides us with both raging torrents and calm waters… but water can only sink our ships if we let it get in…Our emotions are like water and they are our guidance systems as to finding our Way. Acknowledge them, work with them, don’t fight against them and our ships can weather any seas with strength and confidence..if someone is intent however on drilling holes in your boat, it’s best to let them swim for themselves!
Boundaries are imperative… We are perfectly imperfect There is always light after the storm after all, windows are required for our boundaries in to let in the light shine!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

How did we all go with the New Moon? We had seven planets in the fire sign of Aries, the energy of which is great for us to put our energy into action! Following on from last week, it is definitely time to put our faith in ourselves and action it, in order to create, laying the groundwork for our own energy and abundance! Healing ourselves, no matter what stage of the journey we are on, is a necessarily constant…

Healing and the balance of our spiritual and physical selves often feels very uncomfortable as we regularly find ourselves challenged by the universe to step outside of our comfort zones, in order to integrate all of who we are in order to become our authentic and true selves. The inability to do so has many causes, a fear of the unknown, a fear of what those around us may think, a fear of judgement, a fear of change and the list goes on. The common theme here is fear.

Many years ago, now eleven now in fact, I launched this page, and officially left much of the life I knew and worked for behind in order to become a healer, a calling I felt so strongly I needed to follow. I had spent my entire life denying it, then years accepting, processing and working through my own healing, before I was comfortable and confident in my ability to share that journey with others, in order to assist them in their own healing journeys. Becoming your true authentic self takes courage, but leads to abundance not only for yourself, but also for those you assist and those for whom you shine your light by your very example … it was one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself and my family. I’ve found my balance.

Success, love and all ‘round abundance can be achieved for those of us willing to step outside of our comfort zones and really take a leap of faith, in ourselves! …this week, it’s all about passion and CREATING…and how we go about it:)

One of the best crystals for helping us to get out of our comfort zones in order to create is Carnelian. Known as a talisman for builders and stonemasons, Carnelian is also used sometimes as a life force crystal, it is a power crystal and a fire crystal...she does indeed love to be cleansed in a naked flame! The energy of Carnelian can help us to conquer our fears and doubts, through its ability to help us find our courage in times where determination and confidence are required…in order steer and create a steady, sturdy and successful path. Despite being a fire crystal, Carnelian can actually help to calm rage, jealousy and anxieties associated with our sacral chakras... the chakra responsible for creating our joy, thus allowing us to create more positively, in whichever way that makes us happy...maintaining that creative vibration needed to manifest all things abundant!

Bringing the energy to all who wish to receive it today, of a Carnelian grid I created and have shared previously…I just absolutely love this grid and it’s energy is very powerful! A beautiful Carnelian heart surrounded by Clear Quartz rays, together with tumbled Carnelian...May it’s energy and intention radiate outwards and help us to walk our paths with our heads held high, with confidence in our heart, and passion in our souls...follow your truth and find your joy…success is ours if we take the steps to create it! Faith in Action…Life sometimes feels like it’s burning us alive, in truth that fire is regenerative, helping us to shed the layers that have prevented us from the ability to light our own fires, our own Way and shine!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

My apologies for our weekly guidance being a little later in the day today, this evening here actually!…I’ve been busy cooking for my family and friends most of the weekend! This week, although being the school holidays, has been incredibly busy for me and I thought at one point I might actually lose my voice!

Thankfully, that did not happen but when I feel my voice starting to falter, for any reason, my go to crystal is always Turquoise…it is for this reason I will be using Turquoise for our weekly crystal guidance.

More gentle in its delivery than Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise is no less powerful in the pursuit of Truth… where Lapis can be a double edged sword, Turquoise allows one to speak one’s truth in a way that simply allows what needs to be communicated, to land as required, especially when people seem apt not to listen. There is a gentle power behind Turquoise that commands respect and attention when used for the highest good.

Used for over 5000 years, Turquoise has often been utilised as a talisman of protection by many ancient cultures … from Egypt to the Americas…it’s calming hues of blues and greens bring a sense of peace and tranquility in times of anxiety, stress and chaos. With a New Moon in Aries this Friday the 17th of April at 7:51pm Perth time, we are being asked to communicate and act with patience, confidence and compassion as we move forward through the rest of the year. We must strive to be balanced, but truth over the plethora of AI, misinformation and the outright fiction we see in the world right is admittedly difficult.

We cannot falter with our own truths, integrity is always the key to our own sovereignty…Turquoise assists us in this goal and is literally a crystal of Faith in Action… Faith in the higher good, the bigger picture…even when that picture of a higher good may not be visible or understandable at the time. My weekly guidance is always just that, my spiritual faith in action…never AI generated and always the result of my own experiences and connection to Source. We simply need to keep putting one foot in front of the other….Remembering to take pause for thoughtful reflection on just what our personal truth really is! But, although all roads lead to Source, the Way in which we all arrive is demonstrably different and a certainly a matter of personal choice…
