Allsports and Family Podiatry is a comprehensive podiatry practice working on all foot and lower limb complaints from the very young to the elderly. Our practice focuses on diagnosing the problem area whether it be clinically, in the skin or nail, or biomechanically, in the tendon/muscle/ nerve/bone. We will refer our patients for x-rays /ultrasounds/MRI scans to establish a diagnosis. We use an in clinic diagnostic ultrasound pulse machine to establish the circulation flow in diabetic patients and a computer gait analysis technology to help establish poor walking form that may contribute to painful feet/legs in active people. We receive many referrals from Doctors/Sports Physicians/Orthopaedic surgeons/Footwear stores to assist their patients who are having lower limb pain before or after surgery. You do not need a referral to see our podiatrists unless you are claiming through Medicare. All appointments are generally covered by Private health cover, but it is best to double check with your health fund to see if you are covered for Podiatry. We also refer and work closely with Physiotherapists/Chiropractors/Doctors in the area for ongoing treatments. Our treatments include routine foot care for people unable to attend their feet and diabetic patients who need ongoing treatment. We also specialise in orthotic/insole manufacture to help reduce aching feet and legs. We use these in all ages including the young who suffer from growing pains, sports people suffering with bunions/heel pain/ knee pain etc and the elderly suffering with arthritis. When treating the active patients we also use acupuncture/massage/sports taping/foot mobilisations and manipulations. Medicare rebates are available if the patient is referred from their Doctor with a Podiatry care plan. We are also registered with veteran affairs. Email: admin@allsportspodiatryperth.com.au
