I am excited to announced that bookings are now open for Express Yourself Club - OCTOBER school holidays. A workshop that focuses on connection to self, self esteem and regulation through art, play and movement.

Our first workshop in July school holidays was a sell out, so be quick to book in!

Date: Friday 4 October 2024
Time: 9.00am - 12.00pm
Location: Churchman Brook Community Centre
Age: 7 - 10 years old [please contact if above or below this range as another workshop may be added]

With a maximum of 10 children to ensure a felt sense of safety and connection.

Hi Meraki community! Teesh here! 🙂

Two weeks ago today, I completed workshop 2 of Child Centred Australia's Child Centred Play Therapy (CCPT) course.

Its been such a pleasure learning from the wonderfully insightful and dedicated Melanie Jansen from Play heal grow, alongside like-minded peers from not only all over Australia, but also internationally. Both workshops one and two (and the associated distance learning) have been SO practical and I walked away feeling confident in a whole new set of skills. This is such a rare feeling when completing professional development and an absolute credit to the developers of the course and Melanie's delivery of the content.

I'm so pleased to be able to offer CCPT to my young clients now! I have one special opening just for a CCPT client in the Forrestfield or surrounding area.

Child Centred Australia is pleased to announce its third Evening for Play Therapists for Perth; once again at the gorgeous Herdsman Lake, Wembley.

Envision a spring Friday evening where we gather together by the lake at sunset. Padma Mind & Movement will begin our evening by guiding us through a mediation, grounding and light stretching to help us to reconnect to ourselves and nature at the end of our working week. For the main body of the evening, we will come together as a group in the warmth inside, each person bringing and sharing a playful intervention idea or resource, so that everyone leaves with new inspiration for their work ahead with children. And of course, the evening will offer wine and grazing, and times to chat and connect with other like-minded play therapists.

Tickets are limited and $58 each which includes grazing/beverages.
