MumUber is in session!! When I say I understand how crazy life is with kids and work and all the other 100’s of things that pop up onto your to do list, I really mean it!
Last night was urgent care with one kid until 930pm. Work today after a morning of juggling the emotions of still waiting for results and making all the possible plans. A race home after work before pick up to get all the sports gear we didn’t think we needed but got the ok to play so now need 👊🏻 Throw in 2 school pick ups. After school snacks in the car. Baseball drop off. Cheer drop off. Watch a few minutes of baseball game. Dance pick up. Cheer pick up. Back to baseball. 🤪
Super glad for burgers for dinner at baseball!
And then it all starts again tomorrow ….
My non negotiables in this to keep me semi sane and healthy?
💦 Water bottle with me always
🚗 Drive through pick up for a moment to breathe
🥗 Grocery shopping done earlier this week so I know I have good food in the house ready to go
☕️ And a coffee (after 10am, before 2pm and always with a protein breakfast first!)
🍟 Not stressing that the snacks are store bought and not home made … yes I know people will argue with me over this one, but that’s ok. Snacks today were out of a packet … be kind to yourselves mummas if this is you too!
So yep! I’m in the trenches with you.
Simple things really do make all the difference in these crazy afternoons though.
So stop. Drink some water and breathe …. And remember to eat. And don’t feel guilty about that coffee!!
