🚘 The Car Office. It’s key to me getting things done between all the other things going on.

And I know I’m not alone!!

It’s great.
It’s convenient.
It’s flexible.

But it’s also important to remember to take a moment for you whilst in the middle of the chaos that is often occurring, which is why you are in the car office in the first place 🙈

Top 3️⃣ ways to remember to say yes to you whilst in the car office …
🚘 Remember your water bottle … and actually remember to drink some water not just carry around a heavy bottle that is full 🤦🏻‍♀️
🚘 Take a moment to close your eyes and breathe. Put your timer on for 2 minutes. Close those eyes and breathe. Slow and deep. Reset. It doesn’t take long and will make such a difference to your head space.✨
🚘 Be realistic! You will likely not be as productive in the car office so be kind to yourself and your stress levels and don’t plan too much, or important things that require a lot of mental energy when possible. Tick some easy things off your to do list …. Like a social media post 🙋🏻‍♀️

Hands up if you’ve ever said…
👉 “I always get bad cramps — it’s just normal for me.”
👉 “Headaches are just part of my week.”
👉 “Of course I’m tired all the time, I’m a busy woman!”

We’ve been told for years:
“That’s just how it is.”
“It’s normal.”
“Everyone feels like that.”

But here’s the truth 👉 common does NOT mean normal.

❌Period pain that wipes you out, headaches that creep in daily, and exhaustion that never lifts are all signs your body is asking for help.

Your body is wise. 💜 It speaks to you through symptoms — whispers at first, then shouts if we ignore them.

And you don’t have to just “push through” or accept it.

✨ Thriving should be the new normal. ✨

Just a reminder this women’s health week that to “Say Yes to You” doesn’t have to be hard!

It can be as simple as :
💦 Drinking a glass of water before you have your coffee
😴 Going to bed 10 minutes earlier - or at a regular time!
☀️ Getting a moment of sunshine first thing each day
🙆‍♀️ Taking 5 minutes to stretch before bed
🧘 Breathing for 2 minutes before you start the car after you leave work
☕️ Having a regular coffee date with a friend - A worry shared is a worry halved!

📆 importantly …. Take a moment now and schedule that appointment you have been putting off.

It’s time to choose rest over hustle.
Peace over pressure.
Healing over hiding.

Your body is speaking to you.

It’s whispering for care, for stillness, for attention.

Listen to it.

This is your permission to begin again, to soften, and to say yes to its quiet, powerful whispers.

Listen to what it’s trying to tell you.

I know that my clinic hours aren’t always convenient.

But this is why 🥰

Gymnastics competitions on a Thursday evening 🙈
Sports training or games for one (or all three) of the kids Monday-Sunday. That’s right. 7 days a week.

Add in school dance and drama this term, and athletics training …. If I count up the trainings/activities/games each week … 1️⃣7️⃣…. 🙈🤦🏻‍♀️🤭

And I wouldn’t miss them for the world 🌍 because these little people are my world!

So send me all the podcast recommendations you have as I spend a lot of time in my car listening 😂 but also love having chats when the kids can’t escape me in the car 🙈✅

Sending love to all the other mammas doing the sports/activities juggle!! May the traffic gods be on your side when racing from one thing to the next!

A trip to Bounce with friends, so I can do an hour of power with a coffee 👌🏻

💧 Also remembered by drink bottle so I can stay hydrated.

Then is dentist appointments and gymnastics …. Just the usual Friday afternoon and evening 😂

You know what makes me this happy?
🥳A day of clients who I have not seen in AGES!!!

I always love to see people pop up who haven’t been in for a while.

✨Some are due to moving to a different part of Perth.
✨Some live in the country and come in when they are in Perth.
✨Some live interstate and always come for a tune up while they are in WA 🥰
✨Some have just had so much going on that they needed a break and now have found their way back.
✨Some have been seeing other practitioners and now need some holistic chiro treatment again.

It genuinely makes me this happy to welcome them back (even if it’s briefly!) and give them some support 🥰

So if it’s been a while, maybe this is your sign to make an appointment

☕️ So many chats about coffee intake this week!

My intake crept up during study and all the normal life things in May and June so I am consciously making an effort now to decrease it 👌🏻and consume it in a way my body likes a bit more.

My big two rules?
✅You must have breakfast (preferably with protein) before your coffee. Ideally with some water too but let’s not go too crazy 😂
✅Coffee after 10am and before 2pm

That way it doesnt screw around with your cortisol so much (empty stomache will do this!), your body can process it better, and you aren’t having it too late so hopefully it won’t impact your sleep quality

Atleast I’m not telling you that you can’t have it at all 😂

😳Do you think you could do these couple of things so that you can enjoy coffee and your body will like it a bit more?
