An Mo is an ancient Chinese massage with the intent to open energy channels of Chi and Ching for invigorating the body but at the same time relaxing. In An Mo it can be a sensual massage to simulate blood flow and energy. The ultimate goal is to help the body to heal if it needs that or to balance emotions and awaken Chen . It is a light massage ,less is more ,gentle massage asking the muscles to relax .
The stones are basalt rocks of various sizes, they are rich in iron and retain the heat gained from being steeped in warm water prior to application.
Stones are sited in specific points along the spine, in the palms of your hands and even between the toes to impart heat and balance the flow of energy in the body.
This takes place simultaneously to the massage sequence.
