Did you know that there is a planet Earth Flag?
Purpose of the flag
1. To be used while representing planet Earth.

2. To remind the people of Earth that we share this planet, no matter national boundaries, that we should take care of each other and the planet we live on.

According to Wikipedia, peace activist John McConnell created the "Earth Flag," which features the "Blue Marble" photograph of Earth, in 1969. According to www.ef-gov.org, the flag was later updated in 1973 to include the iconic Blue Marble photo taken by the Apollo 17 crew.

General Sprouting Process

Materials Needed:
- Seeds (black lentils or alfalfa)
- Jar or sprouting tray
- Cheesecloth or mesh cover
- Water
- Bowl

Steps:

1. Rinse the Seeds:
- Measure about 1/ of a cup of seeds (for black lentils or alfalfa).organic always works out. Not organic sometimes doesn’t work out and go mouldy.
- Rinse them thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.

2. Soak the Seeds:
- Place the rinsed seeds in a jar and cover them with about 2-3 cups of water.
- Allow the seeds to soak for 8-12 hours (or overnight). This helps initiate the sprouting process.

3. Drain and Rinse:
- After soaking, drain the water using a cheesecloth or mesh cover.
- Rinse the seeds again with fresh water and let it drain completely.

4. Begin Sprouting:
- Place the jar upside down at an angle in a bowl or on a dish rack to allow for air circulation and excess water to drain.
- Keep the jar in a dark, warm place (around 70°F or 21°C) for optimal sprouting conditions.

5. Rinse Twice Daily:
- Rinse the seeds with fresh water twice a day (morning and evening), draining well each time.
- Over the next couple of days, you’ll start to see sprouts forming.

6. Light Exposure:
- After about 2-3 days, when the sprouts are about 1-2 inches long, move them to a well-lit area. Indirect sunlight is ideal to enhance their green color and taste.

7. Continue Rinsing:
- Keep rinsing the sprouts twice daily until they reach the desired length (usually takes 5-7 days).

8. Harvest:
- Once sprouted, give them a final rinse and allow them to drain. They are now ready to eat!
- Store the sprouts in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Enjoy!
Add your sprouted black lentils or alfalfa to salads, sandwiches, or smoothies for a nutritional boost. Happy sprouting!

A lack of nutrients can affect the brain's functioning.
If we are not aware of what our body needs to function at its best, it is very easy not to include all the necessary nutrients in our diet. I feel I can't focus, and I don't have the energy and motivation to do much if I don't have a balanced diet. I have tested it many times, and my body and mind function much better when I focus on nutrition. For that reason, I studied nutrition to understand it even better.

When we have a good night's sleep, we always cope better with anything that comes our way. When we are mentally challenged, it is essential to prioritise our sleep even more.
Sleep supports the repair of neurons and other cells, helping to mantain overall brain functionality.
REM sleep is important for processing emotions and emotional memories, for better emotional regulation and resilience.
