In this beginners yoga class, the breath isn’t a background extra — it’s the lead character.
On a physical level, the breath delivers oxygen to every cell, supporting movement, strength, and recovery. When the breath flows well, the body feels safer, steadier, and more coordinated. Less forcing. More ease.
On a subtle and spiritual level, the breath carries consciousness and life-force energy (Prana). Each inhale invites awareness in. Each exhale clears space. When movement follows the breath (not the other way around), practice becomes intelligent, calm, and deeply embodied.
Breath-led practice helps unblock and harmonise the flow of energy through the Nadis — the fine energy channels that nourish the nervous system and support balance on all levels. This is why yoga, done this way, doesn’t just stretch muscles — it clears fog, settles the mind, and reconnects you to yourself.
In this class you’ll learn to:
