Our reason is showing up even when you feel like the odds are stacked against you. Celebrating the wins, learning from the losses, and always remembering to have fun and enjoy the process along the way.

Removing Barriers encompasses this beautifully by creating opportunity for people of all abilities to participate and enjoy netball.

Meet our newest team member ✨ Davis ✨

“I’m currently working as a Chiropractic Assistant with the amazing team here at Mindarie Chiropractic Centre. From working as a flight attendant to serving as a Police Officer with WAPOL, I’ve developed a strong background in customer service and connecting with people from all walks of life. Moving into the health space is something I’ve always been interested in, and I’m so grateful to have been given that opportunity here. I’m excited to continue learning about chiropractic care and getting to know all of our fabulous patients.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me surfing, at the gym, in the garden, or walking my dog, Paddington. 🐶”

Feeling tired but unable to sleep is often caused by stress & elevated cortisol, disrupted circadian rhythm and poor sleep hygiene.

Stress can elevate your cortisol which suppresses melatonin and lead to difficulties falling asleep and staying asleep. Cortisol and melatonin are the hormones that regulate your circadian rhythm.

Ways to help:
-Get 10 minutes of unfiltered sunlight first thing in the morning- this is to help reset your circadian rhythm
-Avoid caffeine after lunch- caffeine causes cortisol spikes
-Gentle movements like walking, Pilates and yoga can help lower cortisol levels
-Have a regular bedtime- we recommend joining the 10pm club by going to bed early and setting yourself up for a good nights rest
-Keep your room dark, cool and quiet
-Avoid screens for at least an hour before bed
-Meditation or journalling may be helpful
